Jan Glick, MS, Animal Services Specialist
Ms. Glick has over 30 years of experience in the management and administration of animal welfare organizations. Her background encompasses the public and private sectors, municipal animal service organizations, private nonprofit humane societies with animal services contracts, and a Joint Powers Authority with 13 member cities. She has operated affordable spay and neuter clinics, managed extensive volunteer programs, and been responsible for all operations of animal service agencies, including field services and investigations; animal licensing; contract management; shelter operations and adoptions; and budget development and adherence. She has overseen a wide variety of capital projects, including kennel upgrades, shelter renovation and remodeling, and replacement of an outdated and outgrown shelter facility with a modern animal center complex that included a spay/neuter clinic, education center, adoption courtyard, volunteer areas, and designated areas for species other than dogs and cats.
