Citygate is currently conducting a police services options analysis for the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Previously, Citygate completed an audit of the Santa Monica Police Department’s Patrol Division workload and scheduling plan. The study included an extensive data evaluation, literature review, and interviews and surveys with department personnel and community members. Our firm also conducted a public safety JPA feasibility study for several agency partners in San Bernardino County, and completed a police department consolidation study for the Cities of Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Yorba Linda, and Placentia, which required a comprehensive review of calls for service, workload, cost analysis, and a host of other components.
Within recent years, our firm has also completed three police department reviews for the cities of Provo, UT, Maricopa, AZ, and Goodyear, AZ. These three studies each resulted in approximately 30 specific action-item recommendations, all of which were accepted and are in the process of being implemented. In fact, at the conclusion of our engagement for Maricopa AZ, 16 of our 29 recommendations had already been implemented at the time we made our public Final Report presentation!
