Citygate's Experience
Citygate’s qualifications serving the public sector are exceptional. We have completed more than 500 consulting engagements over nearly 25 years. More specifically, our experience conducting police department management, staffing, and organizational assessments, coupled with our outstanding client track record and extensive expertise in data analysis, sworn and civilian operations, and oversight, make Citygate the obvious choice for your next project.
Citygate has completed workload and scheduling plan audits, conducted public safety Joint Powers Authority feasibility studies involving several agency partners, as well as completed police department consolidation studies. Many of these studies required comprehensive review of calls for service, workload, cost analysis, and a host of other components, as well as extensive data evaluation, literature review, and interviews and surveys with department personnel and community members.
Within recent years, Citygate has completed three police department reviews for the Cities of Provo, Utah; Maricopa, Arizona; and Goodyear, Arizona. These three studies each resulted in approximately 30 specific action-item recommendations, all of which were accepted and are in the process of being implemented. In fact, 16 of our 29 recommendations for the City of Maricopa had already been implemented at the time we made our public Final Report presentation!
