The City of San Luis Obispo retained Citygate Associates to conduct an organizational assessment of the Community Development Department including: 1) Administration; 2) Development Review; 3) Long Range Planning; and 4) Building and Safety. The objective of the study is to review current conditions, evaluate future service demands, analyze opportunities for organizational changes and process improvements that can further enhance customer service, and develop a Strategic Action Plan with a prioritized implementation schedule. As part of the study, Citygate will conduct employee and customer surveys as well as customer focus groups.

- Management and performance audit of the Salt Lake City Housing Authority
- Fire services consolidation feasibility study for the University of California, Santa Cruz
- Comprehensive fire master plan for the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach
- Fire department strategic plan and Standards of Response Coverage study for the City of Corona, CA
