Objectives

This leaderhip course was designed to provide broad knowledge of leadership theories, styles and methods. Self analysis will provide foundation for future leaders to select the style of leadership that fits within their strengths. Problem based learning exercises will allow each student to “practice” leadership and receive feedback from classmates. Practical application of all topics will be stressed throughout each class.

This course was designed to develop an understanding of the importance of creating relationships that will develop a workforce with skills needed to compete in a globalizing world. This training approach looks towards the future rather than the past (as Performance Evaluation does), and encourages team members and leaders to receive constant feedback from relationships, giving everyone a maximum amount of control over their own performance.
