Are you ready for the next disaster?
Ask yourself these questions:
Would I be prepared if I was called into the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to fulfill my role in our agency’s disaster plan?
Would I be able to step to the plate as a member of an Incident Management Team?
Would the other people on the staff be able to fulfill their roles?

In 2007-2008 during major fires in California hundreds of county, city and special district staff found themselves working around the clock in EOCs, or assigned to Incident Management Teams. Some had already received the training in their specific roles; many had not. In retrospect, they wished they had taken more advantage of training opportunities.
If there is a possibility you might work in an EOC or with an Incident Management Team, you have an opportunity to take high quality emergency Incident Management Training.
